We invite you to join our upcoming webinar presenting a novel, data-driven approach, conducted by Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), a JustRE Alliance’s Steering Group Member, to understanding why renewable energy projects in the Global South face delays.

This research study introduces a Social Resistance Index (SRI) that combines media sentiment with socio-environmental conflicts, analyzing its role alongside market, governance, and site-specific factors. By quantifying the role of social opposition in relation to other key factors, the research offers a new approach that can serve as a tool for anticipating and addressing challenges in the deployment of clean energy.

Hosted by:

Juanita Fonseca, coordinadora JustRE Alliance.
