As large-scale renewable energy projects expand rapidly across the Global South, local populations are increasingly hosting projects that shape their land, livelihoods, and futures.

This webinar brings together practitioners, community-based organisations, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the tensions, trade-offs, and lessons emerging across different Global South contexts.
The session will also launch a new set of tools and resources developed by the Responsible Energy Initiative at Forum for the Future, in partnership with the JustRE Alliance for the Global South. These include:
The webinar is intended as an open and interactive conversation, and we warmly welcome questions, reflections, and participation from developers, investors, policymakers, civil society organisations, community advocates, researchers, and practitioners working on the just energy transition.
