Trust Matters is a project by INSPIRE, a partner of the JustRE Alliance, aimed at empowering community trusts within the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP). This initiative enhances community ownership by mobilizing leadership and driving developmental impact.
In early 2024, INSPIRE hosted Community Trust Connect workshops in Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Kimberley, promoting collaboration and sharing insights among community trustees and stakeholders. The project also introduced a Trust Maturity Framework to strengthen trust efficacy.
