Community of Practice is a project by INSPIRE, a partner of the JustRE Alliance, designed to create a collaborative space for REIPPPP[?]Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme social performance practitioners and community shareholding trustees. This initiative promotes learning, best practice exchange, and problem-solving to improve social returns on impact investing.
In March to May 2024, INSPIRE engaged with IPPs and community trusts to shape the Community of Practice (CoP) concept, ultimately focusing on strategic education investments. The pilot project launched with the Inland 5 partnership in Cookhouse, Somerset East, and Bedford, aiming to explore co-learning, co-planning, and co-funding opportunities for meaningful change.
